A neem/mahogany tabla with a well made, durable head. Mumbai-made drums have heads that are thicker than heads made in Kolkata. Consequently we recommend these drums for beginners, since the heads will absorb a lot of playing without the head giving out.
This tabla comes with a cover.

I have a few tablas over the years now. My C tabla split and I was looking for an inexpensive one. I came across this one and I heard the sound over Skype. I bought it and I'm happy to add it to my collection of instruments. In tune, packed well and received it soon enough.

This is a nice regular tabla. It sounds good and I use it as my practice drum.
