    very nice hammer!

I couldn't find my tuning hammer after I moved, so I finally broke down and ordered this one. The price seemed high, especially since I'm new to this instrument and was never successful trying to tune my own tabla anyway. But when this new hammer arrived I could tell it was way heavier and nicer than my old one, and I decided to give tuning a try...and voilà..tuned! It didn't take super long, and was not nearly as hard as it had been with the old hammer. Beginners take note!

Amazing quality. Was shipped immediately and arrived when I needed it for Zakir Ji's tabla workshop.

Great quality product. Was a real upgrade over the regular 100 gram hammers others provide. The heavier hammer allows for more control and more balanced tuning in a quicker time.
