Steel and phosphor bronze wire in the gauges used on sitar, tanpura, sarod, surbahar, dilruba, esraj and rudra veena. We stock German Roslau piano wire, which is what most of these instruments were designed around.
Most gauges come as individual string lengths and small coils; Roslau steel is also sold in quarter-pound coils. For a less common gauge, ask our staff about availability before ordering.
