Pluto Red Djembe Drum 12 Inch Head with Complimentary Djembe Bag and Allen Wrench
-
- This hand drum makes an excellent instrument for drum circles. It is portable and sounds just as good as it looks, and will make heads turn.
- Similar to the darbuka drum, African drums, tambores para adultos, doumbek drum, this hand drum is compatible with a djembe stand. A very affordable African drum.
- Measuring at a height of 24.5 inches and a djembe drum 12 inch head, these hand drums are about the same size as traditional djembes, making them ideal both as drums for adults as well as hand drums for kids. Available in designs with the base colours: Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red and Yellow. Included is a padded bag and an allen wrench along with your hand drum for adults.
- The head is an all weather synthetic skin. It can be mechanically tuned to increase or decrease the tension. Thus saving loads of time and energy while wanting to play your drum. Please note each item is handmade. Photographs and videos are for representation purposes and the designs/colors can vary.

Excellent, Modernized take on a Djembe!
Reviewed on Jun 20, 2024
I am NOT a Djembe expert. My friends are, though. One has not only an extensive collection, but an expansive knowledge of west African drums, and has considerable training with Ghanaian masters. We all agree; this is not an authentic drum. The synthetic head, key-tuned style, coloring, and very present bass tones are not authentic. That being said, it sounds great and plays very well. Even a newbie like me makes it sound ok. If you are looking for the highest quality product but without the responsibility of a natural head and fragility of an authentic shell, this is the best choice. The price is fair for what you get.
