Description
    • This hand drum makes an excellent instrument for drum circles. It is portable and sounds just as good as it looks, and will make heads turn.
    • Similar to the darbuka drum, African drums, tambores para adultos, doumbek drum, this hand drum is compatible with a djembe stand. A very affordable African drum.
    • Measuring at a height of 24.5 inches and a djembe drum 12 inch head, these hand drums are about the same size as traditional djembes, making them ideal both as drums for adults as well as hand drums for kids. Available in designs with the base colours: Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red and Yellow. Included is a padded bag and an allen wrench along with your hand drum for adults.
    • The head is an all weather synthetic skin. It can be mechanically tuned to increase or decrease the tension. Thus saving loads of time and energy while wanting to play your drum. Please note each item is handmade. Photographs and videos are for representation purposes and the designs/colors can vary.

    It’s the sweet spot

It’s a rich and explosive tone. I know little to nothing about hand drums, but I play the kit and use a practice pad while watching TV, before rehearsals, or before gigs, to limber up, and this beautiful hand drum was in my wishlist for the better part of the last decade. Finally, I did it. I don’t condone buying musical equipment from Amazon (there are proper retailers like Sweet Water and Musicians Friend for that), but this one purchase was a long time coming frivolity that I feel good about. So having said all that, this drum feels sturdy, is loud, is tunable, seems versatile in that it can be manipulated to make a wide range of sounds, and my daughter likes giving it a slap or two from time to time.
