Bina 23b Kirtan Harmonium
Bina
$902.00
Our most popular harmonium, especially for use as a kirtan harmonium. These have been re-designed to open and close much easier while retaining the Bina sound quality! This is the instrument used by many well known kirtan singers, including Jai Uttal. It is relatively small and portable and has a full sound. It measures 21 1/2 by 12 by 13 inches and folds up into suitcase like box, with a handle, that measures 21 1/2 by 12 by 7 inches. It weighs 21 pounds and is small enough to bring as "carry-on" on an airplane.
This instrument has 3 1/4 octave keyboard, an octave coupler, 3 fold bellows, 4 stops and 2 drones. The reeds are voiced B/M. This hand tuned harmonium is appropriate for professional and serious musicians and for those who lead kirtans. We spend a couple of hours sweetening the tuning, in addition to our usual inspection and setup. We make sure it is in tune with itself.
Also, please note that because these harmoniums are made of pine wood, which is quite soft, some dings and blemishes are normal.
Please check our Bina 23B Video Manual.
This price includes a $15 packing fee.

Beautiful Harmonium

Bina harmoniums are good sounding harmoniums. All the people I know use Bina harmoniums. The finish is not perfect since it is made in India by hand but it sounds really good. My friends recommended me to buy the harmonium from Musician's Mall. And I did so. The tuning was good and packed brilliantly.

Good Purchase

I recently bought this harmonium. I received and was trying to open the harmonium. It is so complicated that I had to call the store to figure it out. I was then asked to refer to a video and that explained me how to open and close the harmonium.

This harmonium is the most popular harmonium in the kirtan world. I requested for the A440 and I received it within a few days since I live in LA. It's a nice and portable instrument.
