Bina 23b Kirtan Harmonium
Bina
$1,263.07
Our most popular harmonium, especially for use as a kirtan harmonium. These have been re-designed to open and close much easier while retaining the Bina sound quality! This is the instrument used by many well known kirtan singers, including Jai Uttal. It is relatively small and portable and has a full sound. It measures 21 1/2 by 12 by 13 inches and folds up into suitcase like box, with a handle, that measures 21 1/2 by 12 by 7 inches. It weighs 21 pounds and is small enough to bring as "carry-on" on an airplane.
This instrument has 3 1/4 octave keyboard, an octave coupler, 3 fold bellows, 4 stops and 2 drones. The reeds are voiced B/M. This hand tuned harmonium is appropriate for professional and serious musicians and for those who lead kirtans. We spend a couple of hours sweetening the tuning, in addition to our usual inspection and setup. We make sure it is in tune with itself.
Also, please note that because these harmoniums are made of pine wood, which is quite soft, some dings and blemishes are normal.
Please check our Bina 23B Video Manual.
This price includes a $15 packing fee.

I am very happy with my purchase. The harmonium is super pretty and it plays beautifully. A few keys were sticking, but is resolving with the continuous playing. Musician´s Mall kept me updated with the order, and I loved the video they made of my harmonium before shipping it.

I had a great experience with this company throughout. They were super personable and helpful. They helped me pick out the right instrument, kept me in the loop about it's tuning and shipping, and provided lots of resources. The instrument plays beautifully, packs down pretty small, and I couldn't be happier.

I have never played an instrument, loving my Harmonium. It came in a timely manner, tuned (per my teacher), a few keys were sticking, but after playing a few times resolved. Love beginning to play Kirtan and also joined Bhakti Breakfast Club a great adjunct to my private home lessons. Om
